GRADE 4

Grade 4 students have been learning about Geography this term. They learnt about major longitudes and latitudes on the globe and their names. They labelled all the seven continents and five oceans on the world map. They also looked at major biomes on the globe and their features. In English, we have been focusing on the structure and language features of an Explanation Text. They are also consolidating various comprehension strategies to understand the meaning of the text.

In Maths, students have been learning multiplication and division strategies. Please ensure that they practise their times tables at home as well, to gain more fluency.

Every week, online homework is assigned on Mathletics and Reading Eggs. Encourage children to do extra activities in addition to the assigned tasks if possible.
